The road ends tonight.

Wale and Smino bring "Everything Is A Lot. The Tour" to a close at The Fillmore Minneapolis, wrapping a 22 date run that started May 26 in San Francisco and touched down in Los Angeles, Denver, Atlanta, New York, and Detroit along the way.

The tour takes its name from Wale's eighth studio album, Everything is a lot., his first release through Def Jam since returning to the label in 2023. The project opens with "Conundrum" and the afrobeats leaning "Belly," which samples Soul II Soul's "Back To Life," before moving into lead singles "Where To Start" and "Blanco." Guests across the album include BNYX, Leon Thomas, Ty Dolla Sign, Shaboozey, Andra Day, and Seyi Vibez, a lineup that reflects how far Wale has stretched his sound since breaking through with 2008's A Mixtape About Nothing.

Smino has been along for the ride as support, though longtime fans know he needs no introduction. The St. Louis artist built a catalog on his own terms with blkswn in 2017 and NOIR in 2018, then sold out headline dates on his own Kountry Kousins run last year. Pairing Wale's DMV wordplay with Smino's elastic, genre blurring delivery has made this one of the more musically generous double bills of the summer, and Minneapolis gets the last word.
